Nowhere is the Book of Mormon reliance on the King James Version more apparent than in these next few verses. The KJV translators used a number of terms for clothing that were in fashion in England in the early seventeenth century. The Book of Mormon faithfully repeats each term even though they would have meant very little to a New England audience of the early nineteenth century.
